At Project B.E.A.R., we believe every family navigating the heartbreak of pregnancy and infant loss, infertility, or a stay in the NICU deserves tangible support.

Our carefully designed teddy bears honor each unique journey, offering a small token of comfort in times of grief and uncertainty. Whether you’ve experienced the loss of a child, face challenges with infertility, or have a little one in the NICU, our bears are made with love to bring your empty arms reprieve!

Baby Loss Bears

For families who are grieving the loss of a late-stage pregnancy, stillbirth, or infant death

Our 8" Baby Loss Bears are made for families who have experienced stillbirth, infant or pregnancy loss. They are all brown and have a bow-tie and t-shirt with the Bereavement Awareness Ribbon that says, "Alive in our Hearts." While they are not customizable, they do come with an arm-tag to allow for personalization.

Project B.E.A.R. sends one free teddy bear to families who request them in the United States. We also provide free Baby Loss Bears to our hospital and community partners to distribute to families at the point of need (requests must be made by an affiliated employee). If you have already requested a free bear or would like your order to include a customized gift, expedited shipping and paid bear options are available on our shop!

Early Loss Bears

For those who are facing a miscarriage or the loss of an early-stage pregnancy

Our 5" Early Loss Bears are smaller than our other bears and were designed specifically to honor families who've experienced a miscarriage or early pregnancy loss. Each bear is brown, wearing a t-shirt with a unique design that states, “In Our Hearts.” Our 5" Early Loss Bears are not customizable.

Project B.E.A.R. sends one free teddy bear to families who request them in the United States. Our 5" Early Loss Bears are sent to families who select "miscarriage/loss through week 16" as the type of loss on their Confirm Address Form. We also provide free 5" Early Loss Bears to our hospital and community partners. For those who have already received a free bear or would like to have additional bears, they are also available for purchase in our shop, along with options for customizable gifts and expedited shipping.

Infertility Bears

For anyone who is currently faced with infertility or difficulties starting or expanding their family

Our Infertility Bears are dedicated to those on the journey of trying to conceive or starting a family. This 8" bear is brown and wears a bow-tie and t-shirt with the Infertility Awareness Ribbon that says, "Hope in our Hearts."

Project B.E.A.R. sends one free teddy bear to families who request them in the U.S. (which includes our other bear options). Infertility Bears are not personalizable; however, Project B.E.A.R. has a variety of customizable jewelry options available for purchase in our online store, including several pinneapple-themed options (the infertility symbol of hope).

NICU Bears

For anyone who has a baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Our 8" NICU Bears are created specifically for families who have babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Each bear is brown with a bow-tie and wears a t-shirt featuring the Prematurity Awareness Ribbon and the words, “Always in Our Hearts.” While our NICU bears not customizable, they do come with an arm-tag, which reads, "In Honor of Our NICU Warrior:" with space to write a name/message.

Project B.E.A.R. provides NICU Bears to hospitals and community partners at no cost to distribute to families at their time of need (requests must be made by an affiliated employee). While we do not currently fulfill Free Individual NICU Bear Requests, all of our bears are available for purchase on our online shop.
